My Life

I was born in France and grew up in Paris then New York City.

At seventeen, I moved to London, where I completed my secondary education and then attended the American Intercontinental University (AIU), where I earned a degree in Visual Communication, living on my own in student housing. 

After University, I wrote and created the illustrations for the book, Steps of Life, Exceeding Boundaries, describing my 14 years in London and the many obstacles I faced and overcame. The book has since been studied in school, where I’ve been invited to speak about my experiences with students and also teach them art.

Since 2011, I’ve resided in Naples, Florida, living an active life in my own apartment. I’m currently making plans to spend the spring and summer months in New York. 

I passionately feel my purpose in life is to provide encouragement and inspiration to others, especially young people, with or without disabilities, either through my art or direct interaction and through my new website www.StepsofAlexia.com.  My motto in life is “Just Keep Going!”
